Art work on walls?

ok my kids have colored on walls and yes!!!!! they were punished but this morning I went to scrub it off and it was kind of heartbreaking some of the coloring was kind of cute I almost cyred when I had to wash away the bunny that I suspect my daughter took lots of time drawing. No I dont condone this behavior from my children and as Ive said already they both got punnished for doing it. has anyone else felt this way about something their child has done that has been less than desireable?

If you had a camera you could have taken a photo of the "artwork" before you scrubbed your little heart out. My 3 yo daughter did some drawing on the walls in pencil the other day, she still got told off but we have to finish painting the walls anyway, but before you paint over the drawing I will take a photo of it because it is one of her best works, lol. I don't condone it either but they do put lots of effort into it don't they, *smile*.
