i work as a freelance e-designer, 1 of my projects went bad (the sticker i printed doesnt stick too well)?
it's my first time to work with that kind of project. i actually asked for tips from the ones who worked with stickers and told me to put shampoo on the wall... but alas, the "practice" sticker didnt stick too well. so i went without putting much shampoo. too keep it short, it was a clear vinyl sticker so you can see the streaks where the sticker was adjusted and readjusted...
so my question is: how do you accept failure without looking too incompetent? =]
welcome to the world of design and printing. so many ways to die(lol) or so many ways for a project to fail. there are so many variables in our industry mistakes happen all the time. Best thing is to learn from the experience. 1. decide if you'll ever do a project like that again. 2. if you can determine what went wrong and how to fix it you've added to your knowledge. 3. align yourself with very good print vendors for the variety of projects you may do. 4. remember "it's only printing"
