I boiled my daughter's bottle nipples for too long?
I took them out of the package and put them in a pot to boil. Then, I forgot I was boiling them until 15 minutes later. They are Ventaire fast flow silicone nipples. They seem to be fine but they are a little foggy and the texture isn't as smooth anymore. I fed her today with one and it was fine but I wonder if they are a hazard now? Thanks for any suggestions.
Yes, read the instructions, you are supposed to boil bottle nipples for 5 minutes before you use them for the first time. Bleach is disgusting.

EDIT: I'll clarify my train of thought, since someone thinks my answer was poor. Ultimately it is your choice.
I think it just weakened them...not really a hazard, but only you can really tell. If the integrity of the nipple is beyond repair throw them out...if they seem fine to you, go ahead and use them. You obviously aren't going to give your baby something that is falling apart...and you yourself said they "seem to be fine". To ease your mind, consult the customer service line. But I seriously don't think 10 extra minutes in the water is going to break down the silicone to the point of being dangerous.
