How to keep a toddler in her toddler bed?
I am switching my daughter from her crib to her toddler bed and she cries and runs to the door. How do I get her to feel as comfortable in her new big girl bed as she was in her crib?
Time.
For us, the biggest issue wasn't so much the bed, but DS thinking it was ok for him to get up and leave the room anytime he wanted. We had to put a baby gate at his bedroom door for a week to get the point accross that once he went to bed, he wasn't allowed to get up and leave if he felt like it.
