Swaddle Blanket Questions?
My friend who is due to have a baby any day would like to know:
- What material she should buy in a Swaddle Blanket? Microfleece or 100% cotton?
- And how long do you swaddle your baby for? Please give personal experiences..

100% cotton breathes better but the fleece will be warmer....personally, I'd probably go with the cotton myself if its to be used as a swaddling blanket as it will be in such close proximity to the baby I would want the breathable fabric. You can wrap the baby in the cotton swaddle and then place a fleece blanket over him or her if necessary
my winter born babies were swaddled for between 2-3 months until it warmed up and then they outgrew their swaddling blankets and would squirm out of them. By this time their startle reflex had settled down too so they didn't wake themselves so much from that anymore
