Swaddling Moms: How old was your baby when...?
you stopped swaddling? My daughter is 6 months old and sleeps wonderfully when she is swaddled. We use the SwaddleMe blankets. The Large blankets (which we are currently using), are for 4-7 months, 27-28" long. Well, my daughter is 26.5" long. And lately I've noticed that she is somehow working her way out of it at night.
If you swaddle an older baby, how do you do it?? Thanks.
Thanks so much for the feedback, ladies! I didn't know so many moms swaddled their babies. She doesn't take a paci, so I can't use that as a soothing method. As some of you mentioned, she is extremely mobile and rolls around a lot. I think tonight, I will try to just let her sleep unswaddled or on her tummy and see how it works. If that is unsuccessful, I will try to use larger blankets as a couple of you mentioned. Thanks again! 
We swaddled our son until he was 7 months old. He needed it up until that point and I didn't fight him about it. ALL babies have some sort of comfort mechanism that works for them.
Anyway, my mom made Noah blankets that were bigger and that is what we used for him.
Have you tried a sleep sack? That may work better for her if she's getting out of the swaddle but still needs something that resembles it somewhat.
