What is the best spill-proof cup for a 3 year old that is NOT a sippy cup?
This is mainly for bedtime, so she can get her own drinks. Also for the car, where an open cup is disastrous. She does great with straw cups. We have Playtex Straw cups which she loves, but it won't work when she's thirsty in bed. I've taught her that sippy cups are for "babies" or just bedtime -- she has a little brother, so I need something to replace them.
We found spillproof toppers that fit on top of water bottles. These work great at night because we only allow our 3-year old son to have water after 7:00 pm anyway (he sucks down other liquids, and anything with sugar is bad for his teeth).
During the day, our son uses regular cups, but isn't allowed to take them out of the kitchen.
