is there a correlation between fetal heart rate and gender?
at every prenatal appointment when they listen to the heart beat with the doppler the doctor jokingly says it sounds like a boy
every doctor has told me this and
im having my ultrasound tommorrow!
i know it's considered an old wives tale but is there any truth to this?
has anyone had experience with this that says otherwise?
It is just an old wives tale! The quicker heart beat is supposed to be girl, slower being a boy. My doctor swore that i was having a boy last time I was pregnant because the heart rate was 140 and lower EVERY time it was checked, but low and behold; I gave birth to a girl! And, I am 28 weeks pregnant with another girl and her heart beat has been under 150 every time.
