what is the easiest way to make a fabric pouch sling for carrying a baby without metal rings?
Use plastic rings. You can get really strong ones from your local craft store or sewing center. They are used for curtain making. I bought a sling for my baby. It was cloth with plastic rings. The long edges of the fabric were stuffed with batting to make plush tubes. I loved that thing!
