Can white noise machines help with loud banging from upstairs in an apt?
The ceiling/floors in our building are thin, our upstairs neighbors don't have rugs down, and there is a lot of loud banging from kids running around. My wife needs to sleep with earplugs to block it all out.
Unfortunately, even if you request for them to stop, or get your landlord involved...nothing really happens (I know from experience)......kids are kids, they won't stop running and making lots of noise...
Honestly, I suggest you invest in a stereo system, or surround sound for your tv.....and just turn it up....it sounds awful, but there's really no other choice..
Definitely try to talk with them...
But if all else fails, you can move.....or just turn up your stereo and/or tv
