Round Baby Cribs
Co-sleeper or round bassinet?
I have a crib, but it won't fit in our bedroom, and I want the baby in the room or even next to me. I've heard some good and bad things about both the co-sleeper and the regular bassinet. What were your experiences with them?
We used to use a bassinet. I picked this because it was cheaper than a cosleeper which usually run about $140-160. But he soon exceeded the weight limit. After repeated attempts to get him to sleep in his crib and refusing to let him cry it out .... we let him sleep with us. If I had it to do over again... I'd start with a full size arms reach cosleeper that way he'd be there quick to nurse, but wouldn't get used to sleeping with us. They can be used up to 30 lbs and after that you can use it as a pack and play (which usually cost around $100 anyway). We just bought the mini cosleeper b/c we already have a pack and play and it will fit better in our room. I am hoping that he will take to it and eventually move to his crib
