Oval Baby Bassinet
anyone know where to find 14.5x31.5" OVAL fitted bassinet sheets????
I have received a delta bassinet for my baby due in one month. I have registered for the simmons oval bassinet pad at babydepot.com (THIS took forever to find....) which measures 14.5x31.5 and is 2" deep. I would like sheets to go on it, but need to be sure they'll fit right..... I have found carters fitted bassinet sheets which say they fit standard bassinets 14x31..... but will they stretch into the oval shape ? I dont want loose fabric! I did find a website which will do custom orders but the quote was 30 bucks per sheet and that seems high when the carters are 6. Anyone have any experience? thank you!!!
Ughh! They are hard to find! Just remember the basinette is only useful for a couple of months...
You could try:
Contacting the bassinette manufacturer
Thrift stores
Diaper pins on the underside to get them tight
Making them yourself (or ask someone you know who sews)
Or just dealing with a wrinkle or two in the sheet
I have never heard of a baby being harmed by a wrinkled sheet. Hope it helps!
