What type of nipple will work best with Ameda?
So I already bought my breast pump, an Ameda Purley Yours, and it comes with 6 storage containers that have the option of adding a nipple to them. My question is, Which nipple is the best to use with it. I am going to breastfeed 90% of the time, i just want the nipples for my husband to help with feedings and if we decide to get a babysitter for the night.
I also bought the Medela Extra storage containers, but they also do not come with nipples, only lids, but I can use the Ameda collars since they are the same size.. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
I don't plan on introducing a bottle for at least 3-4 weeks, and I have been looking at either the Soothie Narrow Neck or the Dr. Browns Standard nipples, not sure what is better, or if there is a different nipple thats best. 
I have the same breastpump and I LOVE IT!!!
I work full-time and the only nipple that our baby would take were to the Dr. Brown's bottles.
Also, it's best to wait until your baby is at least 4 weeks old to try the bottle- or nipple preference will set in. As well, it takes 4 weeks to get your breastmilk supply well established.
Good choice on the breastpump- it rocks!
note- the dr. Brown's wide and the Ameda pump will not work together- other bottles will work withe average size diameter hole. I pumped and transfered to the dr. brown's bottle.
