Bottles/nipples for newborns?
I am currently breastfeeding my 8 day old daughter but she doesnt seem to want to latch properly on my breast. She only wants to suck on my nipple and not take my whole areola, so I've been pumping and trying to feed her with a bottle (evenflo glass bottles, medela bottles, and gerber clear view bottles) but the nipples seem to be either too much or too little. The evenflo slow flow nipple made her get too much and she choked, and the gerber clear view newborn nipples made her get too little. My question is does anyone have any advice or recommendations on what kind of nipples or bottles i can use for my baby that wont make her choke from getting too much and wont make her gassy. I'm interested in BPA free bottles!
Try the platex drop in nurser bottles.. they are bpa free as well as easier to clean.
