It's absolutely fine to purchase a used pump!

I bought mine new, but I have lent it to a few friends between babies. Madella makes replacement parts for all the parts that touch the milk, so you can buy a replacement parts pack for under $20 and it's totally sanitary and just like a brand new pump again!!!

We just buy parts for each person that borrows it! It's worked out great!

Oh, and the parts are sold at Toys R Us, or Babies R Us!
