Breastfeeding moms, when did your periods return?
I would call my dr., but I lost my health insurance so I can't go in anyway....
I finally stopped bleeding almost 7 weeks after delivering my baby (normal vaginal delivery). I stopped just in time for my postpartum checkup, but then started bleeding again 3 days later, bled for a week and then stopped.
I'm not sure if that was my period coming back so soon or not.
My son is now 11 weeks old, and I bled very lightly for 2 days this past week. So light, I never had to use a pad only a panty liner.
So I'm not sure if this is my period and it was just super light because I am breastfeeding or what?
I always heard you weren't supposed to get your period until about 6 months postpartum if you were exclusively breastfeeding.
My son is exclusively breastfed, no bottles, no formula, no pacifiers, etc., and I'd say he eats a lot. He is a healthy weight, so I know he is taking in enough milk.
I got mine back straight away....ripped off!
