Does anyone use the Halo Sleepsack for thier newborn baby?
I have a 7 week old daughter who is around 8 pounds and she is starting to come out of her swaddle and I worry about the risk of SIDS. I have a newborn size Halo Sleepsack ( 6 - 10 pounds) and was thinking about starting to use it without the swaddle portion to let her arms be free and see if she sleeps better. Has anyone used it with their newborn and if so did you use a sleep positioner with it? Did you leave the bumpers to your crib in or take them out? Thanks!

We use the Halo Sleepsack, and Mairi loves it. She likes to be swaddled at night, but sometimes we let her sleep with her arms out during the day. She does well. She likes to put her hands on her face!
We do not use a sleep positioner or crib bumpers, because both are potential SIDS hazards. She alternates sleeping in her crib during the day and in her bassinet next to our bed at night.
