Graco Lauren Crib
Has my crib been recalled?
My daughter has a Graco "Lauren" natural colored, 4-in-1, drop-side crib. It looks pretty similar to the ones being recalled, but I can't seem to find a model number or anything on it that would help me find out if it's been recalled. Does anyone know if this specific crib is one of the ones being recalled?

We bought it earlier last year (it's a 2007-or 08). It's one of the new ones that can be converted into a toddler bed later on.
There were a lot of Simplicity cribs recalled that had the Graco logo on them. Pretty much all drop-side cribs by Simplicity have been recalled. When did you buy yours?
Add: Yeah, mine was bought 2006, is one of the newer ones that can convert to a toddler bed (and since once converted it doesn't have a danger I don't worry about it...) but basically all of the Simplicity ones, even if they were marked Graco, were recalled even the 4-in-1, it's a problem with the drop-side being held on by a plastic bracket that may break and then the bottom part of the crib's wall will push out and the infant can become entrapped.
Having said that, it looks like the Graco "Lauren" has NOT been recalled officially, but keep an eye on it because it looks like drop-sides in the future are going to be banned, they're just too dangerous right now.
