convert sliding door for closet?
I have a small closet and the space the door takes up to open is way too much. I don't like the look of bi-fold doors, looking at bypass doors option but with only one door. what i would really like is a way to convert my existing hinged framed door into a sliding door that slides into the closet (I do have to clearance) sorta like a pocket door but surface mounted on the inside of the closet. Door locking is not really an issue. any ideas? or conversion kit?
any way to just convert existing door to sliding door? not in frame anymore just surface mounted on inside closet. some track and rail system (sort like by-pass doors) but for only one door
Could use a curtain. Pocket door, which recesses into the wall instead of swinging open and closed. But while the pocket door is a true space-saver, it is not easy to fit for remodels/ retrofits.
