What sort of bedding do you need and how much?
My baby is due 29.11.08 and so far i have got 4 flannelette fitted sheets for the cot bed, 4 fitted sheets for the moses basket, one lightweight blanket, 1 fleece blanket and 1 2.5 tog baby sleeping bag.
Obviously i don't mean to use all these at once! But not sure from a practical level actual how much bedding you need? Any ideas? x
Here's a great guide that I use religiously, first you should invest in a room thermometre, then:
Above 18 degrees C:- Sheet Only
**Ideal 18 degrees C: - Sheet + 2 layers of blankets**
14 - 16 degrees C :- Sheet + 3 layers of blankets
12 - 14 degrees C :- Sheet + 3 layers of blankets
This is based on the baby having a long sleeve sleep suit and a short sleeved vest on.
So but enough for your room conditions and counting for washing etc.
