Dresser Changer Combo
changing table or changer/dresser combo?
Okay, so I have a glider chair already and someone gave me a changing table. I am looking to purchase a crib in the next few weeks. my question is...should I guy a dresser/changer combo that matches and ditch the changing table? If I don't purchase a dresser I was planning on putting one of those clear plastic drawer things from target or walmart in the closet to store extra clothes and things in. I just cant decide what will be more worth it. I have heard the quality of nursery furniture sets is not that great, but this is my first child so I have no real opinion on that. should i just wait and buy a nicer set when he is a few years old?
If you have a changing table, I'd just stick with that. The shelves underneath can hold her clothes as well as diapers. (And, while you can certainly put a changing pad on top of a dresser, you can't stand in front of the dresser and open the drawers to get things out. Open shelves are much more convenient.
When she's ready for a big bed, you can buy a dresser to go along with it.
