Which is better??
A crib with a drop-side, or one that is stationary? Pros/cons?
It depends on you, really. If you have arms long enough to reach down into a stationary crib, that is likely best. Drop sides have risks of dropping down when you don't want them to, or the child could get his fingers pinched in it. In my opinion, anyway.
Test out some cribs and see if you can reach all the way down to the mattress comfortably. I am 5'10" and my husband is 6'2", so we have no problems placing our daughter onto her mattress in her stationary crib.
It really depends on how tall you are/how long your arms are.
