Get infant Tylenol, gas relief drops, that thing that you use to extract yucky stuff from baby's nose: I cant think of whats its called though - sorry, Baby bathtub with the big sponge ofr newborns (you don't need baby towels they will soon outgrow those), rubbing alcohol for umbilical cord, a diaper bag with sample sizes of shampoo, Vaseline, diaper rash cream, lotion and wipes and diapers. Stock up on wipes - you'll use them for everything not just the baby's bottom, baby carrier that you strap around you and carry the baby on your chest, of course - car seat, stroller, swing. I know that with my first I stocked up on everything but didn't use half of it. I would get small amounts of things (except wipes) and get them as you need them - especially diapers because they can outgrow the sizes really quick the first couple months. The person above me mentioned humidifer - that is a must. Moist and cool sleeping enviroment is best for baby!!!!
