Do you think this is a good baby shower gift?
A girl I used to work with is having a surprise baby shower later today. I shopped off of her registry and she'd registered for a wipe warmer that takes reusable cloth wipes. Nobody else has bought anything off of her registry, but I couldn't afford the wipe warmer, but I'm very into recycling and sustainability, so I went ahead and bought her the bamboo wipes, because they can be used with just warm tap water. But now that I've slept on it, I'm beginning to think that it's a crappy gift, and that I should just give her some money so that she can get whatever she needs the most. What do you think?
I should add that I knitted her baby a pink camo hat (her hubby is military) and I'm also giving her some nursing pads and I made her card from scratch.
I would be glad to get some bamboo wipes if I were a new mom. I know those things are expensive! Also, it sounds like your other things are cute too! I love getting handmade things. She ought to be happy with your gift! (I would not want a wipe warmer, by the way. One more thing to run up my electric bill! That is probably just me though.)
