does anyone know how to put a bundle me onto an infant car seat? my sis in law gave me hers w/o instructions.?
The bundle me is very easy to sit in your car seat.
The back of the sack has two vertical openings. Lay the sack in your carseat with this part down. Then just pull the shoulder straps through and hook the velcro of the holes behind the straps. The bottom of the sack has a whole for the crotch strap to go through.
You set your infant inside the bundle me, hook your 5-point harness, and then zip up the sack and away you go! When it is exceptionally cold or windy, it is best to put an additional blanket over the top to hold in the warmth and prevent cold air from getting to baby from the top.
Also, I do not notice the bundle me on our carseats displacing the straps. My infant is still VERY securely fastened in her seat without any problems. (I have a peg perego carseat.) The bundle me's fabric is thin enough to lay behind your infant without causing any bulk, and is safer than having the baby wear a bulky winter coat where the straps are holding the bulk of the coat rather than your infant.
