is storing breast milk in glass bottles ok?
My pump came with and the hospital sent me home with tons of 3oz plastic breast milk storage bottles. I have gotten some 3oz Dr Brown's glass bottles with the internal-vent system build into the nipple cover. If you're not familiar with them they look like this:

What I need to know is if they can be used to stored and feed with breast milk in them. I wasn't sure if they were intended for formula fed babies or if I could use this for my breast milk fed baby. These bottles have gotten constant praise but since I'm only feeding my baby breast milk I wanted to make sure it was ok to use them. I have already sterilized some of them, pumped directly into them, and am currently storing it in my fridge. Will this be ok for later use?
Also is it safe to sterilize glass bottles in my microwave sterilizer?
and how should I warm the milk?
You can store them in the refrigerator for a few days. You can sterilize glass in the microwave and to warm the milk you should put it in a bowl or large cup with warm water in it until it is room temperature. Do not microwave your breast milk!
