I had frozen a lot of breast milk and then our refrigerator broke. Can i still use the milk if it only?
partially thawed or perhaps did not thaw at all? I understand that you cannot refreeze thawed milk (is this because of the bacteria??) BUT if i boiled and cooled it before i fed my baby, would that kill the bacteria and make it safe? (I know it will compromise the milk but she wont take formula and I wont be able to feed her for a few days due to a medical condition). Any help gratefully received! Thanks.
I would think any unthawed milk would be ok but I would contact the La Leche League who are the breastfeeding experts.
