rheem 90 plus question -furnace?
I have this furnance i've replace damn near every part in it. Now the issue is it runs fine during the day set at 70. But once we go to bed at night. Its still set at 70 at by morning its 55 in my house. So we thought it was the thermostat. So we took it off the wall and put the 2 wires together and it should run continueously but it doesn't. We were told a couple of things. One was the mother board but that was replaced in October. Then someone told me it could be the flame sensor. It cant be many more things. Some one help please
Rheem made a Classic 90, Imperial 90 and a Prestige 90. If you have just two wires on your thermostat and it still isn't kicking on, check your 24V transformer (not always part of the furnace). If it was the flame sensor or the motherboard, you would not be getting any results, day or night. But since it is a night time problem when the temperature drops, I'm suspecting the thermostat or the power supply to the thermostat.
