Are expensive nursery bedding sets a waste or worth it?
I have a question...I just ordered my baby furniture today (yay!) and am narrowing down the bedding sets, but my sister-in-law said that the bedding sets are a waste of money because you never even use the comforter, its just for looks.
What do you think? I have a few sets in mind but the one I really like is twice the price. I don't want to order it though if I won't even be using the comforter, cause the comforter is the cutest part. She said you just use the bumper, sheets, and skirt, (and probably a lighter comfy blanket) which kinda makes sense cause the comforter is probably pretty bulky for a baby, right? Do you use the comforter?
Not only do you not use the comforter but you shouldn't use the bumper pads either (they are a big suffocation and SIDS risk). I didn't bother with the bedding set, I just bought a few fitted sheets and a thin fleece blanket.
