bath time for toddlers?
bath time with both of my twins is driving me crazy because they both want to stand up in the tub. i give them warnings to sit down. i have gotten them new bath toys recently and that worked for a little while. anyone have suggestions on how to handle this problem?
oh and they very rarely take baths at the same time. one at a time is sometimes too much to handle!
I know this situation can get very nerve racking, especially at the end of a long day when your patience is worn thin. My daughter did the same thing. The extra toys do help, but I have found they are only a momentary fix. After my kid had examined the new toy, she was up again. I had to learn to TRY and keep my cool and make bathtime as stress free as possible, and to try and make it as quick as possible. I did not have any luck with a timeout at the toddler age with my daughter, just patience and distraction are the only things that worked with us. Good luck.
