I think it looks elegant,but some ppl (like the baby's grandma!) just hate black furniture especially for babies.I feel like hearinf complaints about the crib all day!! but I just love the color.The baby's nursery is a very light green color with white window shades.What do you guys think?

I'm sure not everyone will agree with your choice. If you picked a white crib, they'd say go darker. If you picked an old fashioned crib, they'd prefer modern. It doesnt matter what type of crib you get as long as YOU love it. You're the one that will be seeing it most of the time anyway. Tell Grandma that when she comes to visit, she does NOT have to sleep in the crib. She can make herself perfectly comfy on the couch, or she can go to a hotel if the color offends her too much. LOL. Seriously, be happy with your choice. It's what makes YOU, YOU.
