Because baby stuff is always ridiculously high, you would think something 10 times smaller then adult things should be 10 times cheaper. But I guess they know new moms like us are easily won over by cute baby things, which means we are willing to pay for it! I actually got my sons crib set at k-mart for $40 and it was adorable! I fell in love with it when I saw it, and we honestly complained about how high it was!!! I didn't even know crib sets were that high until I went to babies r us, now I know I have absolutely nothing to complain about.
Really I wouldn't even buy one, they say the bumpers are unsafe too, I had to push my sons down by his mattress that way he wouldn't roll and suffocate himself, so you could only see half of it. If you want a cute set then sew the comforter to the sheet, that way it fits snug, and shove the bumpers down like I did. If you really don't like that idea then save yourself the money and buy a cute sheet!
