Am I Missing Anything in My Baby's Hospital Bag?
Okay, I will be 36 weeks on Tuesday and i think its time to get my bags ready. I packed baby boys bag last night. Please help me if iam missing anything.
2 Outfits
2 Bibs
2 Pair of socks
1 Sleeper
Snow Suit
Hat
Pacifier
Blanket
For me I will take:
Night Gown
Track Suit to wear home
Slippers
For me I will also bring
Lip gloss
Deodorant
Tooth brush
Under Clothes
I wouldn't think you would need the bibs. I didn't have a use for them.
I took a pillow of mine, because I knew I didn't want those flat hospital pillows. I also took some sweets, because I am a sweet freak and I didn't want to be stuck with popsicles!
You also want to take WARM socks! With the medications given I found that my feet were always freezing! They gave me the socks with the tracks on the bottom, but I wore mine under those.
You also might want to take something to read or a dvd or even a game system. We had out WII, I was in labor for 17 hours, my poor hubby needed something to do!
EDIT: Oh yes, PADS! Girl, they provide some there, but they aren't the greatest! I made it through using them, but I was happy to get home to the ones I had.
Also, my daughter was born at 37 weeks and 2 days. She was 6lbs and 14ounces, but there was no way she could fit in the Newborn outfits. We ended up buying preemie outfits, she wore those for a couple of weeks!
I know they say six pounds, but she just didn't fit!
