is the metal taste from a stainless steel kettle harmful to my baby?
with the bpa scare going around i decided to buy a full stainless steel kettle, i have had it for a year now and the water still has a metal taste to it. should i be concerned about this as i will be having a baby soon and will be boiling water to make bottles from this kettle? i have tried boiling water with vinegar to get rid of the taste but it still comes back.
Sorry to say this, but if this really IS a stainless steel kettle AND after a year's-worth of scaling up you're STILL getting a metallic taste I would have a word with your doctor - it COULD be that the metallic taste is nothing to do with the kettle and is a symptom of something wrong with YOU - medically speaking - so do PLEASE have a word with your doctor - and if all else fails, then simply get a different kettle - but let's face it - STAINLESS steel should NOT be giving off ANY THING ! ! !
