Border in the Nursery!?
In my baby's bedroom, i want to put up a wallpaper border. The paper isn't sticking to the wall, do i need to scrape off and make the wall smooth and then apply glue or what am i doing wrong?
It's kind of hard to know without seeing it. If your wall if really rough, that may be the problem. Does the package from your border say that it is pre-pasted? Maybe you're putting it on too wet or too dry? If it's not prepasted, you will have to buy some wallpaper glue to put it up. Is the border a peel and stick type?If the wall is too dusty or greasy it might not stick and the roughness of the wall would not help. Figure out what kind of border you have and go from there. Some cheap borders although really cute have really bad glue and sometimes nothing makes them stick. You can buy wallpaper glue for these too to help them stick.
